Here and Now...
I came to Substack quite awhile ago, thinking this would be a place to coalesce with others who thought, felt and valued much the same as me! I have not been disappointed!
While this is my first article, I have read many and subscribe to several writers here. I re Stack many articles expressing exactly my thoughts, ideals, values, feelings!
Having been an active Democrat all my voting life, I have worked on many campaigns over the years. My 80th birthday , in February 2025, brings me to a place in life where I wish to take a larger stand. We, as a Nation, are at a existential crossroads, and my goal is to utilize Substack to join others in the fight to hold the new administration accountable.
We are a divided country right now; however, we are at least 80 million strong. Our numbers reflect
politically active citizens who voted AGAINST an opponent bent on destroying Democracy and turn our country into an Oligarchy. We must not give in nor give up!
Bringing like- minded people together will be my major goal. Sharing SubStacks I value will help broaden their reach. I invite you to join me!
